It hasn’t been a good week for me or Mustangs (or half of the staff at my former company), but I do know that things will get better soon. This experience soured my interests at working at a startup, but it is what it is. I have to stay positive.

Keep an eye out for Vice and Buzzfeed. They have lots of work from home gigs where you just review footage. Not a bad option in a pinch, even if you only do it for a while.

I wanted to do video editing (went to school for digital media production), but few companies around here hire for something in house and full time (I have something with awesome potential lined up for the future if it works out though). Since you’re already on the west coast, you shouldn’t be looking for long. Tons of work like that floating around. Way more than around here at least.
